About the training: Trainees will be exposed to hands-on learning by using Power BI that includes using Power Query and Power Pivot. The trainees will learn Cloud technology, connecting to various data sources in order to analyze and create visual reports. They will learn how to implement self-service Business Intelligence (BI) and use Microsoft data platform to perform data analysis, how to share Power BI data, how to create a dashboard and how to use DAX. This competency certification is aligned to Microsoft Certification is aligned to Power BI and Power Pivot (Microsoft Excel). It is focused on Power BI Business Users. This class is for Business Users, not for IT Users.
Your Equipment Requirements: You will use your own lap top. In order to take this training, you will need to have 16 GB RAM on your laptop and download Power BI Desktop before coming to training. You will also be working with Power Pivot (Excel), also needed on your laptop. See Power BI requirements below.

The Data Management Professional is someone who can fluidly use self-service Power BI. The first part of EDMP training takes an individual’s skills in “Business Analysis,” to a new height, where they can explain the industry trend known as SMAC – Social, Mobile, Analytics, and Cloud. You will be exposed to a holistic view of Enterprise Data, and a complete view of Big Data analytics using Power BI.
This intense three-day instructor-led class provides trainees the opportunities to practice using Power BI.
