Agile Versus Scrum

Agile Versus Scrum
PMI-ACP® Certification is setting a new standard for Agile Certifications based on research, feedback on best practices, methods and roles. With just 1,500 hours on an Agile Team within the last 3 years and 2,000 hours of project management over the past 5 years, you can prepare and sit for the PMI-ACP® Certification after 21 hours of training.

Agile & Software Development: Most software development projects are managed using Agile methodologies for their projects.

Agile Vs. Scrum: There are at 10 methodologies that we teach for Agile. Scrum is just one of them.

PMI-ACP Certification Versus Scrum Certification: The Agile PM can have various titles including scrum master, APM (Agile Project Manager), etc. PMI-ACP certified PMs have a certification that validates their experience and knowledge of 100 multiple choice questions. Scrum master certification (CSM) only provides a certificate that you passed the exam of just 35 questions. Not much credibility because of the number of questions, and less credibility if experience is lacking. However, the dynamics are changing. What we are findig is people without experience acquire their CSM. Then once they have the experience for exam approval, then they take the PMI-ACP Certification training and exam.

The PMI-ACP Certification Class: At SmartPath LLC you will have 21 hours of instructor led training and 60 days of online quiz practice learning starting on the last day of training.
